What Can You Do with the Slack Integration?

With the Slack integration, certain events in your Mudstack workspace will automatically generate messages in Slack. This includes:

• Assets
• Adding a file
• Adding a file version
• Creating a folder
• Creating a library
• Creating a tag
• Comments
• Adding a change request
• Approval comments
• Adding a reviewer
• Making a comment

All of these events can be set up to automatically generate messages in your Slack workspace, so you'll never miss an important update again.

How to Set It Up

Setting up the Slack integration is simple:

1. Create an app for your Slack workspace. You can do this by going to the Slack API website and following the steps to create a new app.
2. Once you have created the app, select the channel where you want the integration to send messages. You will need to be a Slack workspace admin to do this.
3. Send us the Webhook URL of the bot. You can do this by clicking the Copy button below the Webhook URL. You can then DM our Product Manager, Josef, on Discord or send an email to support@mudstack.com.

Once you have completed these steps, you'll start receiving messages in your Slack workspace for all of the mudstack events you've selected.
